well my name is katie and i am 25 years old i have blond hair and blue eyes and i am 4'9, when i was born i weighed 1 pound 9 ounce, the doctors gave me a 5% chance of survival and they said i would be blind and deaf which i am not and they also said i wouldnt be able to walk which i am walking so they got two things wrong, shortly after i was born i had a full blown stroke which affected the left side of my body causing it to be weaker and shorter, i had open heart surgery a few days after i was born because i had a hole in my heart, i had renal failure which caused my stomach to swell up like a balloon and my skin to break open i have scars on my stomach for that, i had to stay in the NICU for 4 months before i got to go home and when i finally got to go home i had to be put on a heart monitor, i have left hemiprisis and cerabal palsy and i have to wear hearing aids and glasses.
